Constantly seeking meaning, for several years the brand has shown its support for design in all its forms through its dazzling artistic collaborations. It regularly spotlights both up-and-coming and well-established talents, and its poetic worlds reflect its pared-down approach to fashion.
It was therefore a natural step for the brand to partner up with the International Festival for Fashion, Photography and Fashion Accessories over the past three years.
This year, discover natural dyeing as it has been imaged by the French manufacture Whole, situated in-between the Villa Noailles and the Saint Pierre Castle.
For a special experience of this event outside of this vegetable-themed space, a very limited-edition series of tank tops and T-shirts dyed by Whole will be available in pink, the distinctive colour of the Villa Noailles living room.

Present since 2017 at the International Festival for Fashion, Photography and Fashion Accessories in Hyères, American Vintage will once again feature in the 2019 edition - April, 25th to 29th - where it will award its American Vintage Photography Prize".
The winner - who will succeed Sarah Mei Herman – will be awarded a financial prize and have the opportunity to exhibit a series of prints designed for the Marseilles label in-store in autumn.
« Coalescence »
In physics, this is a phenomenon which pushes two elements to become one. This is also the title chosen by Sarah Mei Herman for her latest series of photographs. It is a name which clearly represents this photographer’s trademark: the intimacy of human relationships.
With this series that she has produced for American Vintage, she returns to her very essence by photographing the forces of attraction at work within a group of young people; three of whom have been followed by the young woman for more than 13 years. Documented in the style of an intimate journal, these multiple relationships are revealed under the benevolent gaze of the artist.
